I am grateful for all that has happened this year.
I am grateful for you.
What a journey this year was….
And I am looking forward to one of the greatest adventures of my life this upcoming year as we shoot our story.
Thank you for being a part of that story.
I am so ready to rock 2014 out!
As I type this, I’m chilling in a 24 hour laundry mat waiting for my clothes to dry. I have spent the last two days organizing, cleaning, and putting aside things to be donated. Here are my top 3 magic things to do before the New Year:
1. Make a Wild Co-Conspirator list. Who are the people that came into your world this year and changed your perspective and made a difference? Who are the people that pushed you further than you thought was possible? Who are the people that have stood by your side and cheered as you moved into your dreams in 2013? Write these names down and put them in a special place for you to see as you move into the New Year. Call or write three people on the list.
2. Brew Up Some Desire Soup with Friends. I created this game for a class I taught last year. For some people it might be hard to express their truest dream out loud. This game gives a chance for everyone’s dream to be voiced – and your dream gets a “guardian”. How cool is that? Click here to see how it’s played!
3. Rock Some Home Sparkle and Help Others. My Grandma Helen always said that cleaning before New Year’s Day and your birthday will help “sweep out the dirt of the year” and make way for new amazing things to come your way. I’ve got a huge box of donations loaded in the back of my little car, and some awesome stuff is now going to some fantastic people who bid to help the Killian Mansfield Foundation (and if you missed the live auction – any donation is appreciated to help the kids – click here.) In the spirit of Revolverlution! What a win-win situation for all. If there’s one thing you’ve taught me this year – it is this: We can accomplish ANYTHING we can dream TOGETHER.
